MEET THE ADVOCATES AT GREY MATTERS OF CARMEL
We are a Carmel-based neurofeedback therapy clinic that helps adults and children mitigate the symptoms related to anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress disorder, attention deficit disorder, attention deficit hyperactive disorder, apraxia, and migraines.
We are parents with kids who have different needs and struggles, and we are grown adults with those same things, too.
Our data-driven, brain-based assessments and training programs help children and adults improve concentration, memory, sleep, mood, behavior, and stress management.
Life can be hard. Let us help.

Courtney Boyer | Founder & Certified Brain Health Coach
Courtney is the founder of Grey Matters. She has over 20 years of experience in business management, nursing, psychology, and digital marketing. She’s also Grey’s mom, so she gets it! As a mother with a child living with apraxia and ADHD, Courtney has found success in neurofeedback for both herself and her children. Now, she’s out here helping other moms and dads with their own mental health struggles.
Courtney holds an active Registered Nurse license in Indiana, and she is a Certified Brain Health Coach, Certified Health and Wellness Coach, and a Certified Holistic Nutritionist. All of this wrapped up together makes her the perfect mental health advocate here at Grey Matters.

Erica Dixon | Neurofeedback Technician
Erica is the neurofeedback technician here at Grey Matters, and she brings with her more than 15 years of experience in the medical and legal fields. She has even spent some of her career as a Court Appointed Special Advocate for children. Erica has lab analyst experience and is here at Grey Matters to use her sample extraction, analysis, and reporting skills. Her goal is to make sure every patient understands their neurofeedback therapy, goals, and information throughout each session.
Erica’s attention to detail and precise procedure adherence makes her the perfect person to have on your side as you navigate your mental health with neurofeedback therapy.

Charley Boyer | Neurofeedback Assistant
Charley is one of the coolest people you will ever meet. Although she’s still in high school, Charley’s passion for helping people and her deep interest in human behavior and psychology make her the perfect Neurofeedback Assistant.
As Courtney’s daughter and a neurofeedback graduate herself, Charley couldn’t be happier to join in on this journey of bringing relief and an optimal life to many others.

Macy Marie | Chief Hug Officer
Macy Marie is Chief Hug Officer at Grey Matters. She is a hypoallergenic, loving Australian Labradoodle who loves to give hugs, comfort our friends, and get belly rubs. She earned her Good Canine Certification in November 2021.
When Macy is not working she likes to play fetch, go on long walks, and learn new tricks.
